HOW WILL THE WORK BE DONE?

If you are eligible and elect to participate in the Program, a representative of the Authority will inspect your home to identify the appropriate treatment.  You will then have the opportunity to select among a number of options for the color and style of the materials that are used.  Once the Authority has developed a treatment plan for your home, you will be asked to sign a contract for the Authority to make the improvements, and the Authority will hire a contractor to do the work.

Generally, several months are required for the contractor to order the materials and complete the job.  To meet the EIS requirements, the Authority must also obtain a legally enforceable overflight easement from participating homeowners, using a standard form prepared by the Authority.  As stated above, participation in the Program is voluntary, so it will be up to you to decide whether you are satisfied with the proposed treatment plan and conditions for participation.
