WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM?
There are approximately 200 residential properties within the program boundaries (view map). Residential properties are generally eligible for the program if all or a substantial proportion of the property is within the program boundaries, though there are some exceptions. Properties outside these boundaries are not eligible.
Even if a home is within the boundary, it will not be eligible if it was built after December 31, 2001, the date the EIS was approved, unless a building permit or subdivision approval had been obtained for the property before that date. Eligible homes must also be constructed in a manner that lends itself to effective sound insulation.
The FAA has determined that eligibility for the current Program should be based upon the EIS, but the current Program largely coincides with, and carries out, a comparable measure included in the Authority's Part
